Our Home In Prague...

This is our home and doggies in Prague. Gobi was 7wks old when we bought her in Prague 9. She was so adorable!!! We used to walk her around downtown and we remembered tourists will always stop to pet her because they just could not resist.... Such a cutie pie when she was a puppy....
Bubu was 9wks old and she was really tiny... like a little kitten. I was so afraid that Gobi will step on her... I had to take Bubu to work for a month because I had to feed her 4 times a day. It was pretty cool that my boss allowed me to take my dog to office. That is the coolest thing in Cz! There are actually other people bringing their dog to work permanently in my previous workplace. No kidding!!!

Our Parents...

My mom is a very smart, kind, polite and hardworking woman. She is like my best friend because I can talk almost anything under the sun with her. She is very approachable and patient. My dad on the other hand is funny, jolly and very sociable. I would crown him the 'Social King'. My in-laws are very nice folks as well. Janet is a very caring, thoughtful and helpful person. Fred is very humourous, wise and helpful. Whenever I think about Fred, there will always be a beaming smile on my face because of the funny and interesting stories that he tells. I love the one about the racoon/squirels on the electric fence!

We are very fortunate to have them as our parents and we are grateful for everything that they had done for us. They are amazing people!!!

We love them dearly with all our hearts!

Chingay JB 2006

Annually, we have this Chingay procession in JB and it consists of lion dance, dragon dance, big head dolls, gods parade, people on stilts, waving big flags, bands, fan dance and some other stuff. The Chingay is divided into a 3 day procession. There is a belief that it will rain the day before the gods exit from the old temple because the rain is suppose to clean the streets before their appearance.
The 1st day of the procession starts from 11am whereby gods are brought out from the old temple. The parade usually lasts for 2 hours and ends with gods resting in another temple, waiting for the night parade on the 2nd day. The parade on 2nd day begins in the evening at 7pm and it lasts little longer than the 1st day procession. There are more things to see, eg. floats and people dressed in Chinese fairy tale costumes. The gods will then return to the old temple on the 3rd day and the whole parade ends for the year.

Chinese New Year BBQ

Here we are... our BBQ at home! It was very hot... as usual. Chicken wings were very tasty! But I must say... very hard work because I was basically bbqing for most people. Hmm... wished my hubby was there. He does all the bbq at home in Prague. Hee...

My Best Buddies...

Here are my secondary school buddies, uni mates and colleagues. I was very happy that they made it to the wedding! They came all they way from KL and Spore. It was really nice to meet up with them again... Here is a photo of us, 4 great beauties posing for the camera!

Chinese New Year Celebrations 06...

Yummy!!! Check out all the food! We had steamboat for our reunion dinner and also at my auntie's house. My uncle cooked all these dishes in the last photo. Impressive? We bought a sushi platter and kampung roast chicken from Jaya Jusco and my mom cooked the 'fen si' with cabbage. Looks fantastic isn't it?

Cutie pies...

The little furball is Bubu, the other doggy eating cracker is Oreo (my dog in Msia) and the smiley face is Gobi. Oreo loves to talk and plays fetch occasionally. Gobi is obsessed with balls, loves fetching and swimming. Bubu on the other hand, loves to chase Gobi when she runs after the ball and she plays fetch too with her little toy sheep called 'Baa'.

Malaysian Wedding Banquet

This is our Malaysian wedding banquet on 21 Feb 2006. It was hosted at New Hong Kong restaurant. The food was allright.. roast chicken, sea cucumber and prawns were good. Dessert was a disappointment. Venue was so so only because we were placed upstairs... don't know why but there were a lot of mosquitoes!!! Ha... I would say it was a simple and informal dinner.

My Bridesmaid...

This is Kati, my bridesmaid. I met her when I was working
in Outokumpu, Msia. She has been a good friend ever since.
I visited her last year in her hometown, Kajaani, Finland and met her family. They are all very kind and sweet folks. Just like her....
